Ok it is time for the Crown family to add a new addition to our house! Our "Little buddy" aka our vacuum died and now we need a new one so I can return my moms :) (thanks mom!!!) Anyway- I don't know what brand to get so if any of you would like to leave a little comment about your favorite vacuum that would be awesome!! Thanks guys!!

It really depends on your budget...
But if $ is not a huge deal, and you're looking to invest- get the dyson. They are available at most stores such as Target and Costco. I'd go Costco just for the discount.
Why are they so great? Wonderful engineering, and good for carpet, rugs, and hardwood. I've always lived in older places with pretty wood floors and area rugs, but oh my gosh what a pain to take care of if you don't have a vacuum that can do hardwood.
So, no I don't have one yet, but it's on my list! Haha!

Good luck with that. We just bought a vacuum and it was exhausting to look for one. They are all bright colored, with double cylinders and all that. Quite frankly, they look like spaceships! We spent 100 bucks at Target for one (bagless, which i love) and we love it Good luck!
We just got a Bissel Cannister vacuum, I believe. I really like it. It has suction control so depending on what I'm vacuuming I can choose less or more suction. I almost got a Dyson but my sister has one and hates it. My other sister loves hers so you never know! I felt like the reviews for the vacuum I got and the Dyson were almost identical and my vacuum was on sale at Kohls and I had a coupon that I could use on it...I'd just google vacuum comparisons and read reviews to make sure you are getting the vacuum you want and what you need...good luck!!!
Mine is a sears brand (what ever that is? can't remember) canister (not upright) It's worked great for us for 9 years or so. GmaS. has one just like it that's been going for I'd say close to 20 maybe more years.

It doesn't really matter. They all pretty much suck.
I hate ours and we spent a ton on it...I loved our old one from walmart. So basically I have no idea! Good luck!
